Point to point, from Bloedel Donovan, staying inside the buoy lines swim along shoreline to my beach.
We will have a few kayaks out to help you stay on course.

Leave T1 onto Northshore, follow it to the fork in the road (Yes there is a fork - the restaurant called "The Fork")
Take the left fork and head up Y Road all the way to Squalicum Lake Road and come back to Northshore
Do that loop a second time. After two loops, come back to transition area along Northshorehttp://app.strava.com/activities/5620504Run
about 1 mile along sidewalk on Northsore to get to the trailhead at Northshore/Alabama/Electric
then just stay on the Railroad trail all the way down to Haggens and back, great views of Bellingham Bay as you run over the bridge above Alabama Street

We had a great day, 3 or 4 kayak guides, 7 swimmers, 6 did full triathlons with two completing the full Olympic distance! Post race BBQ and the everyone ate their finishers medals (Homemade Cookies!)2012 Facebook Event Page
